Grosgrain TapesOne of the many tapes that our company offers is polyester grosgrain tape. The grosgrain is also called corded fabric, is a plain, close woven and fine corded fabric, which is strong. It can be woven in different colors, but dominating color is black. It is woven via taffeta weave making use of heavy weft. In earlier years, this tape was used to be woven using nylon, silk, wool or combination of fibers. There were many structural uses of this product. Presently, it can be used for internal reinforcement or facings or waistbands. Other than garment applications, the polyester grosgrain tape can be used for craft, book bonding, cargo and packaging.
